What’s Happening First: Phase One

We’re kicking off this spring with some exciting developments to get the campground ready for you! Here’s a glimpse at what’s coming:

Prime Location:

Find us at 61 W. US 10 Baldwin, Michigan, with direct access to over 1,600 feet of the state-maintained Rails to Trails system. It’s a scenic pathway connecting Baldwin to Reed City.

Essential Amenities:

We’ll start with 40 campsites that include water access and privies, perfect for rustic camping.

Upgraded Infrastructure:

Central Michigan Surveying and Development (CMS&D) is on board to make sure everything is done right. They’re handling:

     o Electrical systems

     o Water distribution

     o Roadway and drainage plans

     o Stormwater management

     o Topographical surveys

CMS&D is known for their top-notch engineering and design work. With their expertise, our foundation is in great hands.

Big Plans for the Building:

We’re adding a 32’x48’ extension to the existing building. Half of it will be extra office space, and the other half will be a 32’x24’ retail and check-in area, giving you a warm welcome when you arrive.

Easy Access to Fun:
Baldwin Canoe Rental will offer pick-up and drop-off services for adventures on the Pere Marquette River. Convenient and ready for you!

      Our Philosophy

We believe in doing things the right way. From sticking to all environmental and local regulations to supporting local businesses, we’re putting quality and care into everything we do. And trust us, we’re just getting started.

Goals that Grow: Phase Two

Once the groundwork is set, we’re diving into the next chapter.

Phase Two will bring even more ways to make your stay amazing:

More Campsites:

We’ll add another 60 sites, bringing the total to nearly 100. That means space for

tent campers and RV travelers alike.

Special Stays:

Imagine cozy geodesic domes or cabins nestled along the recreational trail. These unique lodging options will have power and water hookups for extra comfort.

Upgraded Amenities:

o Bathhouses with showers and restrooms

o A septic dump station for Camper & RV guests
