Vendor Application Rules and Regulations
Please complete the Vendor Application below to begin the process of vending at any of High in the Pines community events. Once you submit this application, you will receive an email with further information and 'next steps'. Please note the following:
• A sales tax license is required for any vendor selling non-food items. Visit www.michigan.gov/taxes or call 517-335-7508 to obtain a license. You are responsible for your own collection, reporting, and payment of sales tax per state guidelines.
• Cottage Food vendors must comply with all state laws and must have ability to provide proof of training if asked.
• All vendors must agree to comply with our rules and regulations to ensure market goers safety and satisfaction.
• Vendor Fee: Free for all vendors, ensuring inclusivity and maximum participation.
• Eligibility: Open to farmers, artisans, craftsmen, and women residing within Lake County and surrounding areas. Participants will gain direct access to the community, boosting awareness of their products.
• Vendor set up for daytime events is one hour prior to store opening or the night prior.
For the Baldwin Bazaar, vendor set up is 3pm the day of the event.
If you choose to set up for these events at times other than what has been specified, please note vehicle usage will be limited in vendor areas for safety reasons.
• Rustic camping accommodations are available for vendors upon request.
